Derek Warfield is a singer, songwriter, noted historian and a charismatic founding member of the legendary Wolfe Tones. For 42 years he has been the voice behind the stirring introductions and author of many famous ballads that have endeared him to countless thousands of fans all over the world.

Considered a legendary figure on the Irish music scene, Derek continues to tour the world, taking with him the story of Ireland, which he has championed for over 40 years. Accompanied by an excellent five piece group, Derek Warfield's shows are as energetic now as ever, his passion for the Irish ballad stronger than ever. In March 2006, Derek released his 9th solo album, a 36 song double CD of your favourite patriotic Irish songs.

ROLL OF HONOUR: 2006 marked the 25th Anniversary of the Hunger Strikes of 1981. This period in Irish history showed to the world the patriotism and love of one's country as exhibited by the ten men who gave their lives for their principles and beliefs. Their memory and their legacy will endure throughout the ages and we must never fail to salute the men who many consider to be the heroes of our generation. We remember Bobby Sands, Francis Hughes, Ray McCreesh, Patsy O'Hara, Joe McDonnell, Martin Hurson, Kevin Lynch, Kieran Doherty, Thomas McElwee and Michael Devine.
